Glenn P. Boisjolie

West Springfield – Glenn P. Boisjolie passed away on Tuesday, September 17 in Springfield after over a year’s fight with cancer. He was 67 years old. Born in Santa Monica, CA on March 16, 1957, he was the son of the late Barbara (McGarthy) Boisjolie. The family moved to West Springfield when Glenn was a very young boy, and he was a lifelong resident. Glenn was a toolmaker by trade and considered his Advanced Manufacturing co-workers to be family. He enjoyed watching various sports, especially horse races and he eventually visited most of the thoroughbred tracks. Glenn was predeceased by his brother David Boisjolie and sister Karen Boisjolie. Glenn will be missed by his nephew, Matthew Lasonde and his family of Jacksonville, FL. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 28th starting at 9:30 to 11:00am, with an 11am funeral service at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME in West Springfield. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.
