Obituary
Glenn Zurlino, 65, passed away October 21, 2022, after a long battle with alcoholism. Born in Springfield, October 21, 1957, he was the son of the late Roland and Georgia (Parker) Zurlino. Glenn was a talented toolmaker and served as the foreman for his family’s business, Sanford Tool & Design for many years and most recently worked for Millrite Machine of Westfield. Glenn had been an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He was passionate about the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and Patriots. He was a member of the Verdi Club and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He leaves his siblings, Alan of Southwick, Barbara Kurland and her husband Andy of Longmeadow, Robert of Ft. Lauderdale, Raymond of Canton, GA, Diane Kobuskaitis and her husband Greg of Springfield, Donna Harris and her husband Larry of Germantown, TN and David, and his partner Colleen Murray of West Springfield, along with cousins and many nieces and nephews. All services are private and the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 170 Pearl St. Springfield, MA 01101.
