Gloria (Bonci) Bailleul

Gloria E. (Bonci) Bailleul, 81, passed away Sunday at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Westfield on April 3rd, 1933 to the late Brueno and Assunta (Giuelette) Bonci. She was brought up in Blanford and has lived in West Springfield since 1949. She worked as a sewing machine operator for different local firms like Carters, Nick Goods Specialties, Rainbow Girls, Lauren Sportswear and Plating Supplies. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in W. Spfld. She loved the arts and enjoyed tap dancing until a few years ago. She adored her grandchildren great-grandchildren and they all loved their Mimi. Gloria was predeceased in 2007 by her beloved husband, Raymond A. Bailleul. She leaves her loving children, Linda Farrell and her husband Jay and Gary Bailleul all of W. Spfld., she will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Christina Rogers, Bryan Farrell and Ashley Bailleul and her great-grandchildren, Nolan, Callen and Adrian. She also leaves several cherished nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 10 AM Friday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., followed by an 11 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine Street, with burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 PM.
