Obituary
Gloria Jean (Cummins) Molta passed quietly in the morning on Friday, March 29, 2019 in Holyoke, MA, comforted by her partner of over 20 years, Ray Marciniak. Gloria was born in Vancouver, WA and was the daughter of Richard and Donna (Cavanaugh) Cummins both of Desmet, South Dakota. Gloria was raised in Sacramento, CA and moved to Agawam, MA in 1980. She was the proprietor of the Agawam Getty Mart for a number of years in a long career in the retail and service industries. Gloria loved the Bible, babies, Elvis, Kenny Chesney, bowling, playing pool, the Yankees and spending time with Maria and Steven. Gloria will be missed by Ray and her siblings Michael Cummins (wife Cindy) of Reno, Nevada and Patrick Cummins of West Springfield, MA. By her children, Janet Fong and Rebecca Catlin both of California and John and Anna Molta both residing locally in Massachusetts. Gloria has over 10 grandchildren and over 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother James of Idaho, daughter Darla and granddaughter Meghan, both of Connecticut. Final arrangements are being handled by Toomey O’Brien Funeral Home in West Springfield. At the request of the family all services will be private. Donations in Gloria’s name may be made to the COPDfoundation.org
