Grace B. (Brown) Gearing

West Springfield- Grace Betty (Brown) Gearing passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Thursday at Kindred Care in Agawam. She was born in Staten Island, NY on March 20th, 1938 to the late James and Mary (Haggerty) Brown. She has lived in West Springfield for most of her life. Grace was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Springfield. Grace worked at Third National Bank for 16 years before retiring to care for her grandchildren. Grace�s hobbies included golfing with her longtime friends in the Southwick Bells Golf League, working out at the Westfield YMCA with her many close friends whom she called family. Grace loved her family and was a warm and generous woman to her many friends. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She leaves her beloved husband of 60 years, Ronald L. Gearing. She was the loving mother of Ronald �Butch� Gearing, II and his wife Terri of Westfield and James Gearing and his wife Allison also of Westfield, devoted grandmother of Jennifer Gearing and her fianc� Eric Kubic, Courtney Collins and her husband Blaire, Andrew Gearing, and Alexander Gearing, and caring sister of Mary Naegeli. There will be a Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday at the First Baptist Church, followed by a burial at the Springfield Street Cemetery in Feeding Hills. Calling hours will precede the church service Monday from 8:30-10:30 AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld. In lieu of flowers donations in Grace�s name may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 or to the First Baptist Church, 337 Piper Road, West Springfield, MA 01089.
