West Springfield - Guerino J. �Rocky� Semprebon, 86, formerly of Westfield St., passed away Wednesday at the Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow. He was born in Springfield to the late Caterina (Piccin) and Amedeo Semprebon. Rocky was a graduate of West Springfield High School class of 1948. He owned and operated Rocky�s West Side Wheel and Frame for over 30 years. He was a communicant of the former St. Ann�s Church in W. Spfld. Rocky was a member of the Dante Club, Shaker Farms Country Club, where he was a former member of the Tournament Committee and the Deadline Gang. He was one of the founders of the Eastern States Exposition Area Scholarship Committee. He leaves his beloved wife of 63 years, Ima R. (Govoni) Semprebon, his loving children, Lisa Murphy and her husband David of Westfield, Gina Semprebon of Enfield, CT and Darren Semprebon and his wife Kerry of Clifton Park, NY, his adored grandchildren, Natalie, Chad and Tatum, great-granddaughter, Shea and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Frances Semprebon and Nora Tesini. The family would like to thank the staff at the Jewish Nursing Home for their compassionate care they gave to Rocky over the last 2 months of his life. There will be an 11:00 am Funeral Home Service, Tuesday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld. burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Eastern States Exposition Area Scholarship Fund, PO Box 124, West Springfield, MA 01090.
