Harold A Smith

Harold “Tony” Smith, 46, passed away April 21, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in San Antonio, TX, he is the son of Terry Smith of TN and Barbara Remillard of West Springfield. Tony was a graduate of the Holyoke Community College School of Nursing and Western Governors University. He worked as a traveling registered nurse who specialized in Dialysis. He had previously worked as a CNA at Wingate in South Hadley. He was a US Army veteran. Besides his parents her leaves his beloved son, Daegan C. Smith of Groton, CT, his sisters, Amanda Andersen of Bowie, MD, Jesica Henry of La Vergne, TN, and Lisa Malanson of Plymouth, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, stepbrothers and sisters and a great niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Anthony and Aurore Moitozo and Harold and Evelyn Smith. Military honors will be held Tuesday April 30, 2024, at 3PM at the Mass Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
