Helen J. (Davis) Brooks

West Springfield- Helen J. (Davis) Brooks, 91, passed away Tuesday in Fairfax, VA. She was born in Springfield Massachusetts to the late Edna (Anton) and Salim Davis. Helen was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield where she sang in the choir for many years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Donald Brooks in 2005. She leaves her sister, Ramona Horgan of Florida, her brother, Raymond Davis of California, her loving son, Matthew Brooks, his wife Laura Kehoe and grandchildren Sierra and Wyatt Brooks, as well as many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday, Feb. 5th 8:30AM at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., followed by a 9:30AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church, 65 Pine St. The burial will follow at MA Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
