Helen L. (Schweitzer) Langdon

Helen L. Langdon, 84, passed away Saturday at Baystate Medical Center. Helen was born to the late Joseph and Loretta (DeLorge) Schweitzer on February 3, 1930. Helen�s life was devoted to her family, she took pleasure in�cooking for them, parties, and get togethers. She enjoyed traveling with her Aunts for their yearly casino trips to Atlantic City and was an avid bingo player. She was a member of St. Mark�s Episcopal Church in East Longmeadow. She was the beloved wife to Kenneth Langdon, Sr, who passed away in 2010. She was the loving mother to Kenneth Langdon, Jr. and his wife Donna of Springfield, Cheryl DeJesus of Chicopee, Todd Langdon of Whately, and Mark Langdon of Winter Park, Florida. She was the caring sister to Joseph Schweitzer, Thomas Schweitzer, and Rich Schweitzer, and was predeceased by Robert Schweitzer. She was the cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Helen also enjoyed her daily phone calls with Diane. There will be a committal service Thursday at�1 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark�s Episcopal Church, 1 Porter Rd, East Longmeadow, MA 01028.
