Helene J. (Bisinere) Dombkowski

West Springfield- Helene J. (Bisinere) Dombkowski, 90, formerly of Cold Spring Avenue passed away Saturday at Country Estates in Agawam. She was born in Springfield on January 30th, 1927 to the late Joseph and Eleanor (Potter) Bisinere. She was a 1945 graduate of West Springfield High School and she lived in town all her life. Helene worked as a waitress for years at the Springfield Country Club and the Coffee Kup in West Springfield. She was a member of the Deadline Gang. She was formerly a communicant of St. Anne�s Church and presently was attending St. Thomas Church. Helene loved playing cards with all of her girlfriends and she was a renowned baker and cake decorator. Family was the most important thing in her life and she adored her grandchildren. She will be remembered for always repeating the phrase, �make sure the kids are alright�. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph W. Dombkowski who passed away in 2006, beloved mother of Joseph Dombkowski and his wife Cheryl of Belchertown, John Dombkowski and his wife Susan of West Springfield, Barbara Dombkowski of West Springfield, and the late Marcia Pluff who passed away in 2012, devoted grandmother of Joey and Casey Dombkowski, Tommy Raschi, Jennifer Serra and Nicholas Dombkowski, caring mother-in-law to Paul Pluff of West Springfield and she leaves many nieces and nephews. Helene was predeceased by 4 siblings; Harold Bisinere, Barbara Leahy, Joseph Bisinere, and Albert Rogers. The funeral will be Friday 9 AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield followed at 10 AM by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
