Irene (Domingos) Ferreira

West Springfield- Irene (Domingos) Ferreira, 91, passed away in the comfort of her home Friday, January 27, 2017. She was born in Chicopee to the late Arminda (Borges) and Antonio Domingos. Irene was a seamstress at Chicopee Undergarments for many years. She was a member of The Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Louis Ferreira in 2013. She leaves her loving daughters, Lila Rowe of Broad Brook, CT and Nina Castonguay and her husband Thomas of W. Spfld., her adored grandsons, Matthew Castonguay and his wife Heather and Timothy Castonguay all of W. Spfld. as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Louis, Jack and Joe Domingos, and her sisters, Laura Domingos, Diolinda Gadarowski and Rose Domingos. There will be an 11AM Funeral Home Service Saturday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld. followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Chicopee.
