Irene Dorothy Wonsek, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 31st. Born in West Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Jeannette (Taborelli) Martinelli. She was a former communicant of St. Anne’s Church (West Springfield). She was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul Wonsek Sr. and her daughter Sandra Russo. She will be deeply missed by her devoted children Paul Wonsek Jr. (Sally) of Palm Coast, FL, Deborah Wonsek with whom she lived, Donna Pino (John) of Springfield and Edward Wonsek (Melanie) of Concord, MA. She is the cherished grandmother to Kian and Benjamin Wonsek, and Vincent, Michael, and Jennifer Russo. Great grandmother to Nico and Nathan Russo.
