James A Harrica Jr, 88, passed away January 14, 2025, at Care One of East Longmeadow. Born in Lowell, November 13, 1936, he was the son of the late James A. Sr and Georgiana Harrica. Jim was a US Air Force Veteran serving between 1956-1960. In his early years he was a salesman for Proctor and Gamble, managed Riverdale lanes bowling alley then Owned Master Brake and Muffler. In his later years he drove a school bus in West Springfield and worked for Schermerhorn Seafood. Jim was also an avid golfer and bowler. He leaves his beloved wife of 63 years, Annette (Bilodeau) Harrica, his beloved daughters, Wendy and her partner John of West Springfield and Kathy and her partner Brian of Citrus Springs, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Judy, Joyce and John. A Funeral Home Service will be held Wednesday January 22, 2025, at 12:30 at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield with military honors to follow at 2pm at the Mass Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 11:30-12:30 at the funeral home.
