James J. Lessard, Sr.

West Springfield, James J. �Pop� Lessard,Sr, 81, passed away Friday June 9, 1017, at Baystate Medical Center. Born April 10, 1936, he was the son of the late Arthur J and Claire (Savoie) Lessard. Pop was an Air Force Veteran during the Korean War. He worked for the West Springfield DPW for many years and also Security Windows. Pop adored his grandchildren and enjoyed attending all their sporting events over the years. He also enjoyed fishing. He leaves his beloved children, James J. Lessard, Jr. and his wife Kristine of West Springfield and Dale M. Lessard and her close friend Michael Wood, his beloved grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Nolan, Jacob and Jenorrow and his beloved great grandchild, Carson. All services were private and burial was in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home was in entrusted with the arrangements.
