Obituary
James L. MacDonald, Jr., 74, passed away Oct. 18, 2021. He was born Jan. 8, 1947 to the late James and Marion MacDonald and was a 1966 graduate of West Springfield High School. Jim proudly served in Vietnam in the US Navy and also served in the US Army National Guard. He worked for many years as a mechanic for the military. Jim traveled all over the world and loved his time in Germany. He enjoyed collecting coins and golfing. Jim leaves his loving sister whom he always protected, Cynthia Elderkin of West Springfield. All Service are private and at the convenience of the cemetery. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
