Obituary
On Tuesday, August 2nd, our cherished daughter and big sister was taken from us at Massachusetts General Hospital. Jamie was surrounded by her devoted family.

I cannot find words to tell the story of Jamie’s battle called Life. How hard she fought, how special she was and how much her love for family and her animals was beyond words.

Jamie was our strength, our hero and was the glue that kept us all together. Jamie was the strongest little person you would ever want to meet. She handled everything bad that was sent her way with such grace and a smile on her face, even on her worst most painful days and nights she worried about everyone but herself. And there were many more than any human should have to endure.

Her smile and laugh were infectious. Her uncanny ability to make people laugh and smile with her dry sense of humor could be matched by none. And her ability to make those who loved her have hope for her future with that “don’t worry about me” attitude was priceless.

Jamie’s greatest gift of all was her absurd ability to communicate and love animals. Most importantly her dogs. Dr. Dolittle would be put to shame.

As I told her every day before kissing her goodnight: WE LOVE YOU! Fly High, Our Blue-Eyed Baby Girl, Fly High.

Jamie will be missed every day.
