Janice E. (Coolbeth) Finn

Janice Elaine (Coolbeth) Finn, 77, of Chicopee passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on September 10, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Hardwick, VT Janice moved to Massachusetts in 1956. She was an accounting clerk at J. Polep Distribution for 37 years until she retired in June of this year. She was devoted to her grandchildren, and especially cherished her great grandson, Caleb Roy. She found joy in spending time with her granddaughters, going out to eat, shopping, and visiting Mohegan Sun. She also enjoyed holidays and dinners with the Parent family of Chicopee, MA. Family and friends will remember her for her generosity and selflessness and her comically stubborn nature. She is survived by her son John Finn of Chicopee, her daughters, AnnMarie Brzoska and son-in-law Peter of Chicopee and Colleen Kibbie of Holyoke. She also leaves behind granddaughters, Cyndi Gonzalez and her husband, Jay, and their two children, Isabel and Abby of Needham, MA; Jolene Roy, her partner, Ken Stacy, and their son Caleb of Chicopee and grandson, Scott Kibbie of Sunset Beach, NC. Additionally, she is survived by her brother Earl (Sonny) Coolbeth and his wife, Barbara; and her sister Beverly Barnes and her husband Harold. Janice also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Janice was pre-deceased by her parents Margaret and Sherman Coolbeth and her sister, Betty Smith. At the request of Janice, the family will hold a private service in Hardwick, VT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Saint Vincent Care Center, 35 Holy Family Road, Holyoke, MA 01040. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home.
