Obituary
Jeannette D. (Sicard) Norton, 95, passed away Monday July 12, 2021. Born in Northampton, October 15, 1925, the daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Lafountain) Sicard. She was a graduate of the former St. Michael’s High School in Northampton and worked for the Farmers Exchange for many years. Jeannette was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. Her beloved husband, Charles Norton died in 2002. She leaves her loving daughter, Mary-Jeanne Lampman of West Springfield, her dearest granddaughter, Kristine James, her beloved siblings, Robert Sicard, Richard Sicard, June Collins and Barbara Crowley, her nephews, Thomas Collins and John Collins, and close family friends, Amy and John Fitzgerald, their children, Frank and Lilly, as well as Eugene and Joanne Gramarossa. She was predeceased by her son in law, Stephen Lampman in 2005. The funeral mass for Jeannette will be held Wednesday July 21,2021 at 11:30AM from St. Thomas Church and burial to follow in the MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105
