Jeffrey L. Stankiewicz

Jeffrey Leon Stankiewicz, 34, passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, July 27, 2023. He was born in Springfield on April 26, 1989 to his loving parents, Christine (Wesolowski) and Gary Stankiewicz. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Siena College. He was married to his best friend Rebecca (Thibault) Stankiewicz on November 24, 2018. Jeff and Becky were blessed with eight loving, happy years together. He had a successful career working in the financial investments sector with MassMutual, Voya, and most recently as a Senior Investment Solution Specialist for Cetera Wealth Partners for the Western Region of the U.S. Jeff’s kind and compassionate love for his immediate and extended family was immeasurable. He was a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Jeff had a passion for cooking, ice fishing, watching a variety of sports, adventuring with his wife, Becky, and spending time with family. Besides his loving wife, Becky, and their devoted dog, Abbey, Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Christine and Gary Stankiewicz of Dennis, MA, his sister Carolyn Schober and her husband, Stephen, and their sons, Alexander and Thomas of Franklin, MA; his sister, Jennifer Bean and her husband Robert, and their sons, Owen and Drew of Grafton, MA; his paternal grandparents, Denise (Lamoureux) and Leon Stankiewicz of McKinney, TX (formerly of Holyoke); his aunts and uncles: Mary Ann and Michael Miles, John and Cheryl Wesolowski, Casimier and Sherrie Wesolowski, and many cousins and extended family and friends. Jeff was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Genowefa (Olearczyk) and Martin Wesolowski. Calling hours will be from 4-6 pm Thursday at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield. The Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield.
