Joan A. Lindblad

Joan A. (McGee) Lindblad, 80, died peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025 at home. Born in Burlington, VT to the late Curtis and Barbara (Tebeau) McGee, Joan was a longtime West Springfield resident. She retired from Omni-Glo Corp. in 2003 after 43 years of service.
Joan was a true animal lover, always taking someone else’s that could no longer care for them. She helped everyone in her family with anything she could, if you needed a hand she was your go to.
In addition to her parents, Joan is predeceased by her sister; Diane Stevens, and her brothers; Gary and Stephen McGee. She will be sadly missed by her sister Patricia Mari (late Victor Mari) of Springfield, nieces and nephews; Tony Dubuque, Pam Maia (Mario) and their son Anthony Maia, Diane Dubuque (David Gustafson) and Michael Mari, as well as her dogs; Pia and Snoopy, and her parakeet Frieda. Joan’s Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Toomey O’Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
