Obituary
JoAnn F. (Skok) Hennessey, 61, passed away March 24, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, October 16, 1958, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Chiusano) Skok. JoAnn was a graduate of West Springfield High School and worked for many years at the Riverdale Gardens Nursing Home. She loved to donate to many charities including the Dakin Animal Shelter. Her husband William Troy Hennessey Sr. died in 2017. She leaves her beloved son, William Troy Hennessey Jr. of West Springfield, her loving daughter, Sunshine Skok of Chicopee, her siblings, Stephen Skok and Donna Sledge both of West Springfield, several nieces and nephews including Lyndsey Thomas of Chicopee and many friends and extended family. Services will be held at a later date. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield is in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in JoAnn’s name can be made to the Dakin Humane Society, PO Box 319, Deerfield, MA 01373.
