John P. Bartolucci 1944 - 2024 WEST SPRINGFIELD - John P. Bartolucci 79, passed away peacefully at his home in West Springfield, MA on Wednesday January 3, 2024, in the comfort and care of his loving family. John is now reunited in heaven with his Father and Mother, Paul, and Marie (LaFleur) Bartolucci and his beloved brothers Paul and his wife Joan Bartolucci, and Robert Bartolucci and his surviving wife Elaine. John was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on March 17, 1944. He loved and served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corp. from 1961-1964. John retired from Avada Hearing Care, following a career of 45 years where he owned and operated 24 locations throughout the Northeast. He was a pioneer in the Hearing Industry serving as President on the Mass Hearing Society Board. He had a passionate entrepreneurial spirit. John was a Real Estate broker, owning over 23 properties throughout his life. He was driven in everything he did, including his 4 year and 7month battle with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He was a True Patriot. He loved golf, his Italian heritage, and his family. He leaves behind his wife, Doris Bartolucci, four loving children, two sons, John Bartolucci, Michael Bartolucci and his wife Donna, and two daughters, Carla and Angel Bartolucci. Three stepchildren; Henry LeClerc, Sarah Banks and Kris LeClerc, and their Spouses along with 5 step grandchildren. John also leaves behind his cherished 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. His family will welcome relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA. His funeral services will begin Wednesday at 9AM from the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home with a Mass to follow at St Thomas Church at 10AM. John will be laid to rest in St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sister Caritas Cancer Center, Springfield MA, Dana Farber Cancer Institute Boston, MA or the
Mayo Clinic Jacksonville FL.
