John W. Hittman

West Springfield -John �Jack� W. Hittman, 78, passed away Wednesday at Loomis House in Holyoke. He was born in Greenfield to the late Harriet (Cooksey) and Leland Hittman. Jack was operations manager for Horizon Beverage Company for 30 years. Jack enjoyed fishing and golfing as well as spoiling his dog (and best friend) Baxter. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean (Robbins) Hittman and his siblings Harriet Boucher, Maureen Hittman, Leland Hittman and James Hittman. Jack leaves behind his longtime partner, Patricia Connors of W. Spfld. and her children, Cynthia Hersey and husband Michael of Southwick and Shannon Mathur and husband Pravin of W. Spfld. and her grandchildren, Chelsea Hersey, Zachary Hersey and Colin Mathur and one great-grandson, Connor Hersey. He also leaves his siblings, Margaret Bliss, and her partner Ronald Pepin of NH, Sheila Major of AZ, George Desmarais and his wife Marlene of TX and David Mackie of Spfld, his stepson, Geoge LeMay of NH and his children, William LeMay of FL, Nicole Rossics and her husband David of ME and John, Daniel and Joseph LeMay of NH. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-6PM at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld. A private burial will take place in Paucatuck Cemetery.
