John J. Molloy

West Springfield � John J. Molloy, 85, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 10th, 2017. He was born in Dublin, Ireland on December 3, 1931. He was the second child of the late Alice (Brennan) and Joseph Molloy. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Joseph of Dublin and James of Milwaukee. He leaves his loving wife of 63 years, Brigid (Richardson) Molloy, his wonderful daughter, Linda Molloy and her husband David, with whom he resided for 14 years, his sons, Brian and his late wife Joanie, Michael and Shawn, his precious grandchildren, Devin, Shea, Quinn, Connor, Mary, Liam, Rylie and Dylan, his devoted sister, Mary, his nieces, Alice and Mary of Dublin, his sister-in-law, Nyla and her children, his nephew, Andy and his wife Edwina of CA, family friends, Heidi and Heather and many other close friends. John served 4 years in the US Air Force as a Staff Sargent. He attended Marquette University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After many successful professional years, he retired and co-founded Atlantic All Temp with his son Shawn. He also was honored as Irish Man of the Year by the Sons of Erin in 2015. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 PM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., W. Spfld. The funeral will be Saturday 9AM at the funeral home, 10AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine St., burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
