John C. Morris

John Charles Morris Jr., 56, of Maple Terrace passed Sunday at home. He was born in Springfield to the late John and MaryEllen (Clark) Morris. He lived in West Springfield for most of his life. He was the owner of the La Caf� formerly of West Springfield. He was an accomplished baker and spent many years managing locally in the food service industry at different locations including 12 Pynchon Place. He was a passionate social activist and did work for �Arise for Social Justice� in Springfield. He enjoyed juggling and was an accomplished street entertainer. He was the loving father of Catie Morris of Westfield, Jessica Morris of Greene, RI, and Jeremy Morris of Ludlow, beloved brother of Marcy Morris, Mark Morris, and Pamela Lanoue and her husband Richard all of West Springfield, devoted grandfather of Amy Pileeki of Westfield, and caring uncle of Justin Morris, Angela Lanoue, and Allyson Lanoue. He also leaves several cousins and several great nieces and nephews. The calling hours will be at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield on Friday from 4-6:30 PM. A Funeral Home Service will follow at 6:30 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that contributions be made to the John C.
