Obituary
Joseph “Skip” Fraczek passed away on March 2, 2021, at his home in Todos Santos, MX after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born on April 7, 1949 in Springfield to Elizabeth L. (Bertera) Fraczek of West Springfield and the late Joseph J. Fraczek (2008). He graduated from West Springfield High School in 1967 and attended A.I.C. Skip founded his own business, “American Traders”, of which he was very proud. He also lived on the island of Montserrat in the British West Indies for several years and owned a successful night club there, “The Agouti”. Skip leaves his son, Jake Fraczek of Los Angeles, CA, who was his primary caregiver. He also leaves his sisters, Joni Fraczek Spadoni of West Springfield and Betsy Wise of Brevard, NC. Skip also leaves his nephews, Zach and Nick Wise of North Carolina and Mike Spadoni of West Springfield. He also leaves his former wife, Kathleen (Colleton) Fraczek of Brattleboro, VT and many friends. Because of Covid all Funeral Services will be private with a Celebration of Skip’s life scheduled at a later date. Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations in Skip’s name may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
