Joseph M. Yiznitsky

West Springfield � Joseph M. Yiznitsky, 94, passed away at Mercy Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. He was born February 2, 1923 in Granby, CT, the son of George and Julia (Daunor) Yiznitsky. Joseph enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1943 and proudly served his country during WWII. He moved to W. Spfld. in 1953 where he built a house in which they still reside today. He leaves his beloved wife, Jane (Ruta), who he was blessed with 72 years of happiness, they received the Mayor�s Award for being the longest married couple in W. Spfld. Joseph also leaves his 5 loving children, John Yiznitsky and his wife Janet of Forestville, CA, Joyce Lynch and her husband Kevin of W. Spfld., Joanne Hamel of Chicopee, James Yiznitsky and his wife Darlene of Monson and Julie Fortier and husband Brian of Holland, MA. He also leaves his daughter-in-law Lois of Chicopee and 11 cherished grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, his brother, George Yiznitsky of Enfield, CT. Joseph was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Yiznitsky in 2010, his son-in-law, Roland Hamel in 2015 and by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. All services are private.
