Joyce M. (Wight) Constance

West Springfield, Joyce M (Wight) Constance, 75, passed away Sunday March 13, 2016 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, April 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Irene (Colson) Wight. Joyce was a graduate of West Springfield High School Class of 1958 and was a graduate of Bay Path Junior College in Longmeadow class of 1960. She was an executive secretary for Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks and also worked in the West Springfield School Systems as a secretary retiring in 1998. She was a communicant of St Thomas Church. Joyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and vacationing at Cape Cod. She leaves her loving husband of 51 years, Richard M Constance, her beloved children, Michael R Constance of West Springfield, Lynn Abel and her husband Richard of West Springfield and Kimberly Valentino of Westfield, her loving grandchildren, Nicole, Emily and Richard Abel, Nicolas and Sonia Valentino and her loyal and loving dog, Krissy. The funeral will be held Wednesday 9am from the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am from St Thomas Church with burial to follow in St Thomas Cemetery.
