West Springfield- Judith E. (Quick) Fitch, 78, passed away Wednesday, at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Springfield to the late Harriet and Norman Quick and has lived in W. Spfld. since 1968. Judith graduated with her nursing degree from Springfield Hospital School of Nursing and started her career there and at Wesson Women�s Hospital. She later worked for Urology Group of Western New England and for Dr. Robert Osofsky. Judith was a member of the First Baptist Church in W. Spfld. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur K. Fitch in May of this year. She leaves her loving daughter and caregiver, Gail Fitch of W. Spfld., her daughter, Susan Theriault of Wolcott, CT, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters. Judith also leaves her beloved feline furbabies, Heavens and Spooky. Judith enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading. There will be a 12-Noon Funeral Home Service on Monday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., followed by burial at MA Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. A calling hour will precede the service from 11-12.
