Judith C Stone

West Springfield, Judith C (Stotz) Stone, 84, passed away March 2, 2024. Born in Springfield, August 27, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Emily (McCollum) Stotz. Judy was one of several children in her family that also included several step and foster children. She lived in various places throughout her life including MA, Colorado and New York. In her younger years she worked as a nursing assistant at the hospital and later was employed at Preferred Electronics performing Plastic molding.
Judy enjoyed Nascar, crocheting, reading and music. She loved taking trips to the Cape with Norman, where they visited with family and enjoyed the beach..
Judith rejoins her beloved husband, Norman L Stone who passed in 2019. She was deeply loved and appreciated by her 5 step children Bruce Stone of PA, Pam Herrlein and her husband Raphael of Westfield, Bridgette Bell and her husband Rick of Westfield, Shellie Stone of Granby, CT and Cheryl Stone-Phillips and her husband Brett of Feeding Hills. She leaves behind her sisters, Marlene Stone of Lenox and Rena Cooper of Pelzer, SC and many Nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. All services are private and the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
