Obituary
Justin William Badi, 41, of East Mountain Road, passed away unexpectedly due to complications of Huntington’s Disease on Wednesday, March 7th, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. He was born in New Britain, CT. Justin was a graduate of Southwick High School in 1995. He went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY. He furthered his career as a chef in various restaurants. He was predeceased by his mother Carol (Barr) Badi. Justin leaves behind his daughter, Sparrow Badi of Greenfield, his wife, Dale (Pixton) Badi of Greenfield, his father Robert Badi and stepmother Barbara Badi of Otis, his grandmother Rose Badi of Cleveland, his sister Janelle Johnson and her husband Edward of West Springfield, and his nephew Samuel Johnson of West Springfield. The calling hours will be Thursday, March 15th, from 4:00-5:30 PM at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield. There will be a Funeral Home Service, Thursday at 5:30 PM directly following the calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Justin’s name to the HDSA/MA Chapter, P.O. Box 95142, Newton, MA 02495.
