Justin M. Messier

West Springfield � Justin Michael Messier, 24, passed away tragically in a car accident Saturday. Justin was born October 8, 1992 in Northampton. He was a lifelong resident of West Springfield and was graduating member of the Class of 2010 of West Springfield High School, and later graduated from Porter and Chester Institute in 2014. He worked at Color Storm Enterprises. Justin was a guy�s guy, he was an avid outdoorsman who loved his snowmobile, going off-roading and paintball. He loved working on cars, trucks, and guns and enjoyed a good PBR. But most of all, he loved his family. Justin is survived by his loving mother, Theresa (Courtney) Verdon and his stepfather Jack Verdon of West Springfield, his sister Danielle Verdon, and his brother Christian Verdon both of West Springfield, his stepbrother, Joseph Verdon and his stepsister, Heather Verdon-Rathburn, his beloved grandparents, Howard and Diane Courtney of West Springfield; his aunts and uncles, Sean and his wife Suzanne Courtney, Howard Courtney Jr, William Taylor, and Diane Miller-Courtney; his cherished cousins Jake, Rebecca, Rachel, Aaron, and Jaxin. He will be missed by all who knew him, even his dog Bubba. Calling hours for Justin will be Wednesday from 4-7PM at TOOMEY-OBRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield, followed by a Funeral Home Service at 7PM. Burial will be private for the family.
