Karen Estep

Karen Estep, 78, of Westfield passed into eternal life surrounded by friends on June 1, 2023 at Noble Hospital in Westfield. Karen was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on July 12, 1944 to the late Earl and Evelyn Estep. Karen was a ray of sunshine and spread happiness in the lives of everyone she met. She enjoyed social events and meeting new people. She built relationships in her community and especially enjoyed going to Bingo or meeting friends for coffee and a chat. Karen had a love for music, comedy, and general people watching. She had an infectious smile and always met strangers with a hello. She will be forever remembered for her gregarious personality and charm. She touched many lives of the people she met her along her life’s journey with her compassion and love. Karen is survived by her beloved family, her brother GJ (Gordon) and Sharon Estep of Texas, her long-time friend Erin Braden (and family) of Palmer, and many of her companions who made Karen’s life especially meaningful. Calling Hours will be held Wednesday June 7, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Toomey O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield, MA. There will be a Funeral Home service at 12:00PM. All are welcome to attend.
