Kenneth C. Fortune

West Springfield-Kenneth C. Fortune passed away at his West Springfield home on February 16. Born in Springfield on July 14, 1954, to Milton and Dorothy (Osborne) Fortune, he was 70 years old. Ken was a Viet Nam era veteran of the US Coast Guard and was an auto mechanic at Bertera Auto in West Springfield. He was a loving family man who enjoyed adventure and the outdoors, especially fishing, hiking and biking. He also loved to cook. Ken is survived by his daughter Gloria Fortune and her fiancé Justin Duross; son Ken Fortune II and his wife Liz; grandchildren Alyssa and Justin Duross; siblings Joanne Ferrance, Helen Lee and Alan Fortune; and his devoted fiancé Joyce Grimaldi. All services were entrusted to Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home.
