Obituary
Kenneth G. Gladu, 81, passed away July 8, 2022, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in South Hadley on January 20, 1941, he was the son of the late George and Ruth (L’Esperance) Gladu. Ken worked for many years for the Johnson Insulation Company. He was a union member for decades and a forever member of the Chicopee Elks. Ken was an avid golfer and softball player. He loved his time at Moody Beach in Maine and was an avid Boston sports fan. He leaves his beloved wife of 47 years, Marcia (Maak) Gladu, his loving daughter, Dawn Gregorcic of Tarpon Springs, FL, his grandchildren, Alea and Gunnar and his sister-in-law, Barbara A. Steglinski. All services are private, and the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home in West Springfield is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 85 Astor Ave Suite 2, Norwood, MA 01062.
