Obituary
Laura Jean Shubert, age 68, of Agawam, MA formerly of West Springfield, passed away on Wednesday November 10, 2021 peacefully at her home. She was an avid lover of all animals including her beloved pug Bentley and her horses especially the Appaloosa breed and AQHA. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marion Serra, and husband Michael Shubert. She is survived by her daughters Kristen Przybyla, Wendy Cleveland, her four siblings Linda Gagne, Elaine Scherban, Robert Serra, Joseph Serra and her grandchildren, Owen Przybyla, Cole Przybyla, Eleanor Cleveland, Amelia Cleveland and Silas Cleveland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be forever in our hearts. Services will be held at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST., WEST SPRINGFIELD, on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, celebrate Laura’s life by donating to the Dakin Humane Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101.
