Obituary
Laura L. Wiggins, 55, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield on September 4,1966, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. Wiggins and Eleanor F. Wiggins. Laura loved animals, music, playing the drums, and was a big fan of Elvis. Laura leaves her sister, Diane Sweeney and her husband James of Southwick, her sons, Joseph M. Wiggins of New Haven, CT and Jeremy M. Wiggins of Southwick, her brothers, Robert M. Wiggins and his fiancé Melissa of W. Spfld, and Joseph C. Wiggins of Enfield, CT. She leaves her beloved grandchildren, Aubrianna Wiggins Gilmore and Avaleigh Sofia Wiggins, her nephew, Brandon J. Sweeney and her niece, Samantha A. Wiggins. She also leaves her aunt, Penny Valliere of Springfield and her cousin, Jenny L. Bogacz of Ludlow. She was predeceased by her grandmothers, Maddie M. Wiggin and Marie Lippmann. The family would like to thank the nurses, who became family to Laura, at Heritage Hall South – Kellie, Donna, Jessie, Kathy, Chevez, and Sarah, as well as the CNA’s who worked with Laura. The family would also like to thank her hospice nurse, Sarah “Badass” Gonzales. Without her, Laura’s journey would have never been complete.
