Lawrence G. Lemire

Westfield - Lawrence G. �Larry� Lemire, 92, passed away quietly at his son�s home, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Born in Lowell, August 15, 1923, Larry owned and operated several restaurants in the Western Mass area including the Cloud 9 Lounge and Terrace Dining Room at Bradley Airport, the Wayside Inn in West Springfield and the Rendezvous Restaurant in Stafford Springs. He retired in 1970 to Florida and Cancun, MX. Larry enjoyed traveling, music and was a collector of model cars. His beloved wife of 69 years, Noella (Michel) Lemire passed away in 2013. He leaves his loving children, Ronald and his wife Barbara of Westfield, Richard and his wife Joyce of Springfield, Roy and his wife Avis of Westfield, Ruth Lemire and Rene and his wife Abby all of North Ft. Myers, FL and Raymond and his wife Denise of Cape Coral, FL, his sister, Doris Grimard of North Ft. Myers, FL, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and was predeceased by a brother Robert. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 12-2PM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Spfld. Burial will be private.
