Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Sherlaw, 82, passed away June 10, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Westfield, May 7, 1940, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Marion (Peabody) Sherlaw. Larry attended local schools in Agawam and was a graduate of Agawam High School. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts and his Master’s Degree in chemical engineering from Southern Connecticut State University. Larry worked for the Albany International Company for over 25 years. He was a very talented artist, loved fishing and gardening and was especially fond of his roses. He leaves his beloved wife of 62 years, Daren (Sjostrom) Sherlaw, his beloved children, Pamela Keavney of Long Valley, NJ and Lawrence B. of PA, his loving siblings, Gary of West Springfield and Carolyn Lau of Litchfield, NH, his 6 adoring grandchildren, and his one special great grandchild. All services are private, and the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to Dopafit, 15 College Highway Unit C, Southampton, MA 01073.
