East Granby, CT – Lee Verrill passed away peacefully at home on July 8, surrounded by his wife and family. He was 84 years old. Born in Baltimore, MD on May 17, 1942, Lee spent most of his adult life in Greenfield, West Springfield, and Feeding Hills before moving to East Granby seven years ago.

Lee built a long career as a Nursing Home Administrator, serving facilities in Greenfield, West Springfield, and Hampden.

His greatest joy came from his family, his beloved wife Jackie (Benoit), his children, and his grandchildren, and from the simple comforts of home. He cherished the companionship of dogs, Zoe and Lucy, and delighted in watching the chipmunks run back and forth outside his sliding door. Known for his quiet steadiness and quick wit, Lee will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on July 20, from 4–6 PM at Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
