Leona H. (Young) Fortini

West Springfield - Leona H. �Honey� (Young) Fortini, 86, passed away Thursday, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home, where she had lived for 60 years. She was born in Westfield to the late Helen (Krawzcyk) and Leon Young. Leona was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Westfield and worked for 22 years at Zayre�s in Agawam in the Fabric and Craft Department. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. Leona was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, George J. Fortini in 2013. She leaves her loving children, Leda Del Buono and her husband Donald, Paul Fortini and his wife Linda all of West Springfield, Lisa Camerota and her husband Michael of Wilbraham and Steven Fortini and his wife Sharon of Southwick, her fourteen grandchildren, David Del Buono and his wife Melissa, Michael Del Buono and his wife Danielle, Paul D. Del Buono and his wife Ashley, Joseph, Thomas, Edward, Matthew and Leanne Fortini, Trysten McCray and her husband Mike, Alyssa and Daniel Camerota, Nicholas and Vincent Fortini, Jonathan Roberts, six great-grandchildren and two more arriving in the near future. There will be an 11:30AM Liturgy of Christian Burial for Leona, Tuesday, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine Street. The burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
