Lillian M. (O'Toole) Thompson

West Springfield - Lillian M. (O�Toole) Thompson, 92, entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center with her daughter by her side. Lillian was born in Boston, the daughter of the late, Mary and Andrew O�Toole. She was predeceased by her husband J. Ralph Thompson and sisters, Rose O�Toole, Josephine O�Toole, Theresa Vigneault and Sr. Mary Redemptus O�Toole, CSJ. Lillian worked for many years in the insurance and insurance adjustment field. Lillian was a graduate of Saint Columbkille�s High School in Brighton and Burdett College in Boston. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Jean M. Thompson, nieces, Lois Vigneault, Janet Vigneault, Carolyn Russell; nephews, Richard A. Vigneault, Mark Eaton, Christopher Cordeiro, sister-in-law, Mary Thompson and brother-in-law, Richard D. Vigneault. Lillian made her home in West Springfield for the past 59 years and was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Calling hours for Lillian will be Tuesday from 9-10:30AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., W. Spfld., followed by an 11AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine St. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
