Linda Brown

Linda J. Brown, 72, of West Springfield passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Mercy Hospital surrounded by her family. Linda was born in Springfield, MA on August 29, 1950 to the late Edward and Irene Charbonneau. She grew up in West Springfield where she graduated from West Springfield High School. Linda attended Springfield Technical Community College which became a major part of her life starting in 1968 when she first arrived on campus as a student and work-study employee. She made many life-long relationships and retired in 2014 from the School of Health where she worked for many years with her best friend “Linda J.” She had a great love for all things South Western. Linda enjoyed the outdoors where she would read and garden. She would spend her evenings out on her front step, watching one of her favorite reality TV shows like “Dancing with the Stars”, or playing Nintendo. She was a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed by her three children Michael, Christopher, and Thomas Brown all of West Springfield. She also leaves behind two siblings: Frank Charbonneau (wife Susan) and Michele Dandy, both from West Springfield. Per Linda’s wishes there will be no services.
