Obituary
Linda (Connolly) Sullivan, 69, of West Springfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30. She was born in Holyoke to the late Owen and Dorothy (McCormack) Connolly and graduated from Cathedral High School and Our Lady of the Elms College. Linda worked as a lab technician at Mercy, Baystate Medical Center and Hartford Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. Linda leaves her beloved husband, Robert D. Sullivan; her loving children, Robert D. Sullivan, Jr. and his wife, Nicole, of Madison, NJ, and Kelly S. Campbell and her husband, Richard, of Bermuda; her loving grandchildren, Bobby and Olivia Sullivan and Lucian Campbell; her beloved siblings, Owen Connolly, Jr. of Granby; Scott Connolly of W. Springfield; Maureen Halpin of Westfield; Sarah Cardetti of Sartell, MN, Eileen Mason of Feeding Hills, and Charles Connolly of Newport News, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be July 7 from 9:30-11 am at Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield, followed by an 11:30 funeral mass across the street at St. Thomas Church. A private burial will be held at the MA Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Institutional Advancement Office at Elms College ( https://www.elms.edu/alumni/support-elms/make-a-gift/ ).
