Loretta T. Percy

Agawam, Ma- Loretta Theresa (Choiniere) Percy, 97, passed away Sunday at Country Estates in Agawam. She was born in Chicopee to the late Mary (Steitz) and Ovid Choiniere. Loretta lived in West Springfield most of her life, having moved to Suffield in 1989. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Suffield. Loretta was an avid Red Sox fan, loved playing cards and family picnics and get togethers. Loretta was predeceased by her beloved husband, Hector E. Percy in 1990. She leaves her loving children, Hector E. Percy, Jr. of White River Junction, VT, Allan B. Percy of Wales, Diane M. Arent of Darien, CT, Jo Anne P. Fenton of East Wenatchee, WA and Leslie J. Farella of Prince George, British Columbia, fourteen adored grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by all eleven of her siblings. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30AM on Friday at St. Thomas Church, with burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in S. Hadley.
