Lori Eyer passed away March 27 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was 56 years old. Lori was born in Springfield on November 11, 1967 to the late John A. Jury, Jr., and Renee (Benjamin) Jury. She graduated with the Class of 1985 from Agawam High School and went on to earn her Associates degree from STCC in Cosmetology. Lori was a self-employed hairdresser for 36 years. She lived in West Springfield for nearly 20 years and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church. Lori loved working in the yard and gardening. She was an excellent cook. Lori also loved to travel, including Caribbean cruises, visiting Aruba, and was enthusiastic to see hundreds of hot air balloons while driving in NM during the annual Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. She is survived by her loving husband Russ Eyer of West Springfield; brothers Jack and sister-in-law Elizabeth Jury of Westfield, Dan Jury of Agawam, and Steve and sister-in-law Heather Jury of Scarborough, ME; brothers-in-law Rick Eyer (and Rhonda Lozinski) and Randy (and Patricia) Eyer; as well as nieces Alyson Eyer, Hannah Jury, Cameron Jury and Ellen Jury; and nephew Benjamin Jury. Visitation will be 3pm-6pm on Tuesday at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME. A Memorial Mass will be on Wednesday at noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
