Lorraine M. Chaderjian

Lorraine M. Chaderjian passed away on December 13. She was 96 years old. Born in Agawam on May 17, 1929, she was one of 3 children born to the late Harris and Margaret (Pasini) Stewart, Sr. She was raised in Agawam and moved to West Springfield 75 years ago when she married her beloved husband, Myron Chaderjian.

Lorraine graduated from Agawam High School and later went on to a long career with the New England Telephone Company. Lorraine was active in many organizations, giving her time, talent and energy to the Guard of Honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the St. Padre Pio Prayer Group of Chicopee, and the Rotary Club among others. She loved the beach and enjoyed annual trips to the shores of Point O’Woods in CT, and sunning on the patio of her West Palm Beach condo. More than anything Lorraine loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Lorraine was predeceased by her brother Harris Stewart, Jr. and sister Anita Manchester. She will be sorely missed by her son Scott (Lisa) Chaderjian of Westfield, and daughters Lynn (Brian) Duffy O’Shea of Warren and Carol (Steve) Bailey of Westfield; grandchildren Christopher Chaderjian, Michael Chaderjian and Megan Wolf, Sean and Shannon Duffy; Brian, Patrick and Ann O‘Shea; Susan Cramer; Christina Bailey, Steven Jr. and Matthew Bailey; Melissa Ryan; as well as many great grandchildren,

Friends may call to pay their respects from 4-7pm on Friday December 19th or 8:30-9:30am on Saturday December 20 at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church followed by burial at St. Thomas Cemetery.
