Louis R Germani

West Springfield, Louis R. Germani, 68, passed away January 5, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, July 27, 1955, he was the son of the late Ralph and Angelica (Kiki) (Vaselacopoulos) Germani. Louie worked in the hospitality business all his life and was a manager for several local restaurants including Storrowton Tavern, The Hofbrauhaus and most recently, Tucker's in Southwick. He was a talented artist and photographer. He loved his family, his friends his music, the Cape, playing with his great niece and nephews and all the animals in his life. He was a person loved by all who knew him. Kind, generous and giving, always there for others. He will be sadly missed by his beloved sisters, Diane Uliana and her partner, George Bshara of West Springfield and Denise Germani Capone and her husband Paul also of West Springfield, his loving nephews, Tim Uliana and his wife Jamie and Jacob Capone, his beloved niece, Alexis Vance and her husband Lyle. He also leaves his Aunt Jeannie Germani and great nephews and great niece, Cooper and Miller Uliana and Asher and Jordan Vance. A funeral home service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 11 AM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield with calling hours from 9-11AM. In lieu of flowers. donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society 171 Union St Springfield or the D’Amour Center for Cancer Care 3350 Main St Springfield.
