Louise T. (Daly) Niedzielski

West Springfield- Louise (Daly) Niedzielski, 87 of Birnie Avenue passed away quietly and peacefully Tuesday at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in West Springfield on March 17th, 1929 to the late William and Eleanor (Fraczek) Daly. She was a lifelong resident of West Springfield. Louise worked as an English teacher at all levels of the West Springfield School System, from Grammar School all the way to Senior High School and she was beloved by the hundreds of students she taught over the years. She went to Dunbart College in Washington, D.C. and graduated with a BA from Regis College in Weston. After that she received a Masters in Education from Boston College and later received another Masters Degree from Springfield College in Educational Administration. She leaves her loving husband John J. Niedzielski. They knew each other for 81 years and loved each other the entire time. She was the beloved mother of her only child, Robert J. Niedzielski of Easthampton, devoted grandmother of Robert Jr., Michael, and Lauren Niedzielski, and cherished great grandmother of Wynter, Trent, Zoey, and Anakin Niedzielski, caring sister of William Daly of Flagler Beach, FL, and she also leaves many wonderful nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 9 AM Tuesday at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield followed at 10 AM by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine Street, West Springfield. Burial will be at the St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
