Feeding Hills � Lucy (Benigni) Christopher passed away Monday at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Springfield to the late Lena (Galloni) and Nicola Benigni. She grew up in Springfield and graduated from Commerce High School and lived the most of her life in Agawam. Lucy was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church in Agawam. She was a bookkeeper at Chemi-Graphic in Ludlow for many years. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a fan of the Springfield Indians for years. Lucy was an avid member of the Agawam Senior Center. She leaves her beloved husband of 64 years, Alfred H. Christopher, her loving daughter, Paula Christopher of Feeding Hills and her adored grandchildren, Leena Christopher and Gerald J. Green, Jr., her sister, Rosalina Urbinati, her sister-in-law, Dorothy Pilegi, nephews, Dominic Urbinati and his wife Teresa, Anthony Pilegi and Raymond Battista and his wife Linda, nieces, Deborah Godbout, Cindy Racklifffe and her husband, James, Pamela Grasso, Delores Arment and her husband Al and Mary Lucia. Lucy�s funeral will be Friday, 8:30AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., W. Spfld., followed by a 9:30AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine St. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7PM.
